A Terrible Toddler!

So I have been having one heck of a time with my almost 18 month old. She is one outspoken little lady. And we cannot take her anywhere with out her screaming to get out of the shopping cart or the high chair. When we go to eat she usually will sit on either mine or Carl's lap until the food comes because we know that if she is in the high chair for too long we wont have a quiet dinner. We also don't order her food to come before ours because we would rather enjoy our food over one of us rushing to entertain her while the other eats. What a disaster!!! I honestly don't know what else to do other than give her what she wants. I feel like my little angel has turned into a little devil =(

I was searching the web for toddler advise and came across this website.. Baby Center and read some pretty interesting things, that aren't much of a help for me lol.  One of Kayden's biggest problems and my most hated, is her whining. She doesn't cry nearly as much as she whines, and it drives me crazy. Anyway... it goes on to say that toddlers whine because they aren't getting attention or the response from us that they are searching for. I don't have that problem. Kayden goes straight into whining before resorting to anything else. I just don't know how to handle it. Carl and I get so frustrated that we fight with each other.

Another non-helper.... It says don't take your toddler grocery shopping if they are hungry or tired... Not the solution here!!! I've tried it... Well slept and full tummy doesn't work!!!! Because now all she has is energy!!! Of course she's not going to want to sit in a shopping basket, she wants to get out, and run around. I took Kayden grocery shopping right before her nap and she was actually "well behaved" I put that in quotations because even still my little devil started her whining.

So in conclusion, I am not sure who writes this stuff, do they have children of their own? It makes me wonder.... Maybe ill write my own Toddler Help Blog. lol

Disney Scrapbook

We went to Disney over the Summer for our first time as a family and for Kayden's very first time. Before we even went I went out and bought all kinds of Disney scrapbook embellishments to make a book before we even went. That way when we got back all I had to do was glue down pictures and that would be it. But it didn't happen that way. Well I finally got around to working on it and thought id share.

Im not finished yet, and its amazing how many pictures you can get and memories you can make just spending one day in the magical place. 

To add more definition to the album I punched holes in the edges of every page and tied a couple ribbons in each. I love that touch. I saved everything from the trip, from receipts, to coasters. I want Kayden to be able to look at this when she is older and see everything. From the prices of the food to the hotel we stayed at.

Halloween Spirit

Nothing makes me more excited than the Fall season. I don't know what it is but I am in a better mood, things don't bother me as much. The smells, the decorations, the food, everything about this season is awesome! And even though I live in South Florida, the thought of cooler weather is to die for! I absolutely love decorating for Halloween!!! Lately, banners have been a new crafter and decorating fad. So I decided to make a Halloween Banner for my home.

The supplies I used. All from Michaels. The letters are Black Glitter Thickers. And I used a glue stick and hot glue gun.

I am so happy with the way it turned out! And I have a bigger appreciation for it, because I made it. Go Me!!

So here I am, trying this blogging thing out again. Lets see if I can stick with it this time around. 

A little about me.... i'm a mommy of a baby girl named Kayden. Lover of my boyfriend (My baby daddy) Carl. =) He completes me. Love scrapbooking, Im a Project Life..er..., Pintrest..er, and now (hopefully) a blogger. I also like a ton of other things that would take a while to list. My objective with this blog is to just be random, and show off my scrapbooking, and my daughter of course =) Lets hope it works out. Otherwise....Im sorry =)
